This panel brings together four Asian American–owned food businesses from Southeast Michigan to share their real, behind-the-scenes journeys of building, sustaining, and growing a food business.
Panelists will speak candidly about what it actually takes to turn passion for food into a viable business.
The conversation will cover practical lessons around starting out, navigating challenges, building relationships, and staying rooted in culture and community.
Attendees will gain insight into the realities of entrepreneurship while hearing diverse paths to succeed within the local AAPI food ecosystem.
The event will be moderated and structured as an interactive discussion, with opportunities to engage directly with panelists and experience their work through small food samples during the program.
