All positions are volunteer. We cover hosting costs at designated meetings, meet-ups and team activities.
Grant Writer
Draft proposals, grants, and letters of inquiry to acquire funding. Work with leadership to communicate our mission and identify grant opportunities with associated deadlines.
Bookkeeper / Accountant
Record income and expenses, maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure proper donation documentation.
Short-Form Video Editing
Take existing footage/photographs and create short-form videos to highlight past events or pitch to potential vendors/volunteers.
Podcast Team
Work with established partners at Ann Arbor District Library and local vendors to create a series of podcasts featuring local AAPI business owners.
Volunteer Coordinator
Work with other members of the volunteer team to follow-up with potential volunteers, connect with and learn more about individual interests, match volunteers with different tasks/projects based on interest, help plan events to engage with new volunteers and build the Marupo community.
Event Planning Coordinator
Work independently or with the support of one or more coordinators to project manage event functions, which might include: finance/budget, venue and rentals, vendor and layout, volunteer recruiting and task assignment.
